Isabella Trimboli is a critic, essayist and editor living in Melbourne. Her writing on film, literature and art has appeared in publications such as Metrograph Journal, The Sydney Review of Books, The Saturday Paper, The Monthly, and The Guardian. She is the recipient of a 2021 emerging critics fellowship from the Sydney Review of Books. She has been involved in Melbourne International Film Festival’s critics program as both a mentor and participant. She is the co-founder of feminist music journal Gusher.
